A scheme enabling registered charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer, effectively increasing the amount of the donation. Donating through Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. What you need to do

You need to make a Gift Aid declaration for the charity to claim. The charity will give you a form to sign.  You must give a declaration to each charity you want to donate to through Gift Aid.

You can include all donations from the last 4 years. Tell the charity about any tax years where you did not pay enough tax.

Every donation you make can be Gift Aided, so if you donate £100, and sign this gift aid form, the government will give us £25.
